Key Outcomes:

VOD Review & Performance Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed VOD reviews of both team and opponent gameplay to identify strengths, weaknesses, and key moments for improvement.
  • Break down strategic decisions, positioning, and team coordination to offer actionable insights.

Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with coaches to develop tailored game plans and strategies for upcoming matches, ensuring they align with both the team's strengths and the opponent's weaknesses.
  • Analyze patch notes, hero updates, and emerging trends to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with coaches and players to communicate findings from VOD reviews, ensuring that feedback is actionable and improves overall team coordination.
  • Assist players in refining their individual and team-wide gameplay, offering targeted feedback and drills as needed.

Competitive Intelligence:

  • Track the evolving meta, both regionally and globally, to ensure strategies and playstyles remain aligned with current competitive trends.
  • Analyze opponent playstyles and match histories to provide strategic recommendations that exploit their weaknesses.

Progress Tracking & Adaptation:

  • Continuously monitor team progress, adjusting strategies and focusing on areas for improvement as needed to optimize performance.
  • Provide feedback to players and coaching staff on the team’s overall strategic development, making sure goals are met.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Strong understanding of Fortnite, including its meta, game mechanics, and team dynamics.
    • Proven experience in VOD review, esports analysis, or coaching within a competitive gaming environment.
    • Ability to break down complex gameplay scenarios and provide actionable insights to players and coaches.
    • Strong communication skills, capable of delivering clear, constructive feedback in a positive and professional manner.
  • Preferred:
    • Familiarity with the Fortnite esports scene, including knowledge of top-tier competitive strategies, team compositions, and player roles.
    • Experience using VOD review tools and analysis software (e.g., Fortnite League tools, independent replay analysis programs).
    • Passion for collegiate esports and a strong commitment to team success and development.
  • Additional Skills:
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
    • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work as part of a team and with various coaching and player personalities.

Additional Information:

  • Occasional travel and weekend hours may be required for live events, tournaments, or team meetings.
