Overview
The ESG Content Support Specialist will work with subject matter experts within the Environment, Social and Governance (ESG) business to manage our external facing communication with ESG stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for coordinating timely handling of inquiries and requests and partnering with various teams to both improve the quality of the responses and the organization of commonly asked questions. A successful candidate will be a self-starter who is comfortable working in a matrixed environment, develops a quick understanding of evolving ISS ESG products and services, is effective at communicating across multiple levels of the business and is adept at building and maintaining relationships with teams across multiple functions and time zones.
Responsibilities

Manage incoming data, methodology, and product-related inquiries and requests, including owning a stakeholder support email inbox and managing a stakeholder -facing service portal

Identify and maintain list of key individuals internally across supported products to assist with 2nd level inquiry handling and validation of 1st level inquiry responses; develop and maintain relationships with those individuals

Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that every query is timely and accurately addressed

Stay up to date on evolving ESG service offerings

Enhance the ESG Helpdesk function by providing methodological and process enhancement suggestions and support implementation of service improvement

Development and maintenance of response history to ensure consistency in communication

Build and maintain process manual for handling of 1st and 2nd level inquiries and requests

Track inquiry metrics and provide period metrics reports to the ESG leadership team

Support the integrity of the Firewall between ISS ESG and ICS to protect the confidentiality and integrity of the ISS Research process.
Qualifications
-
Good English communication skills is required. Knowledge on German and Swedish is a plus

Must be a bachelor’s degree of Business/Finance. MBA or masters degree graduate is a plus

Preferably with 1- 2 years of relevant experience in communication, ESG and stakeholder facing roles. Fresh graduates may also apply.

Proactive attitude, innovative, motivated, client-oriented, and commercially aware thinker with strong attention to detail

Existing Knowledge of ISS ESG research and products a plus

Excellent organizational and communication skills, particularly around communicating technical details to non-technical contacts
