The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:
• Oversee Ergonomics program and Ergonomics team.• Coordinate the management of Magna Ergonomics and MAFACT Ergonomics reporting requirements.
• Manage Ergonomics database. Identify and record ergonomic risk factors through root cause analysis and develop action plans for improving identified areas; includes department meetings, Kaizen events, etc.• Manage Design & Launch Ergonomics, including traX requirements, packaging reviews, and secondary equipment design checklists.• Manage Office Ergonomics program and requests.• Coordinate with nurses to record and study injury data, employee complaints and job hazard recognition to implement effective countermeasures for improving ergonomic work practices. • Assist in coordinating Transitional Work Program, Blood Pressure Clinics, and Flu Shot Clinics with nurses.• Coordinate and facilitate wellness programming and clinics:
- On-site Counseling Clinics
- Cooking Classes
- Farmers Markets
- Vendor Clinics (Mobile Mammography, Foot Solutions)
- Nutrition Programming
- Fresh Fruit Friday
- Fitness Reimbursement Program
- Massage Clinics
- Exercise & Nutrition Employee Challenges
- Plant-Wide Stretching Program
- Metropark Walk Events
- Smoking Cessation
- Other Seasonal Events• Manage onsite Fitness Center facility, Physician Consent Forms, and Orientations. • Coordinate with food service vendor to provide nutritious offerings to employees in both the main dining and vending areas, along with employee feedback surveys.• Participates in Magna US Ergonomics Coordinators meetings.• Manage corporate Ergonomics training requirements and registrations for the plant, in addition to performing plant-wide Ergonomics Awareness Training.• Lead Ergonomics Committee and participate in Joint Health & Safety Committee meetings.• Develop wellness communications via TIPS, Employee Meetings, Bulletin Boards, Restroom Flyers, Team Leader Training, and weekly Norplas University Daily Doses.• Maintain status as a trained Norplas First Responder.• Assist in other departmental safety initiatives as required.
