ePRISMS Data Specialist
Location: Honolulu, HI
SYNCADD Systems Inc. is looking for a full-time ePRISMS Data Specialist to support real property portfolio management for Army installations. ePRISMS is the Army’s Enterprise solution for space utilization management. It provides visibility to floor plans, maps, imagery, and readiness data consolidated from multiple Headquarters, Department of the Army (HQDA) systems.
The ePRISMS Data Specialist will survey, validate, analyze, develop, and adjudicate enterprise facility data for systems of record. This begins by conducting field surveys, using laser scanners and mobile computing tools, to accurately survey and dimension buildings and rooms on military installations. Then the Specialist will record detailed information about each space within the building including such information as how the space is used, organization/unit using the space, and the number of staff assigned to the space. Additionally, the Specialist will take photographs of each building. This role entails extensive interaction with military and civilian personnel in a military setting and due to the physical surveying of buildings and facilities, it requires walking/standing for up to eight (8) hours per day.
Upon completion of the field surveys, the Specialist will process the Lidar point cloud scans to generate detailed digital floorplans.
The ideal candidate will have experience with ePRISMS, CAD, and/or DoD Real Property. Prior knowledge is preferred but not required. Candidates should be detail-oriented, fast learners, be able to make quick yet smart decisions, and be supportive of becoming an active member of a team focused on data accuracy and meeting performance goals. Duties and Responsibilities
- Be willing to learn the business process, terminology, policies and regulations, and systems requirements for proper execution of field surveys.
- Conduct field surveys using laser dimension tools, CAD software, and other data gathering tools to collect building, occupancy, and space information.
- Validate existing floor plans using a laser measuring device to verify dimensions as noted on the floor plan, and document where discrepancies exist.
- Maintain a high level of productivity in assigned surveys.
- Process Lidar point clouds and utilize CAD skills to develop accurate floorplans.
- Ensure detailed data quality standards are consistently maintained.
- Track progress and report to team and customer.
- Interact in a professional manner with military and civilian personnel on a military installation.
Required Skills and/or Experience
- Due to Federal contract requirements, must be U.S. Citizen and be capable of obtaining a Common Access Card (CAC). Preference given to those who already possess or have possessed a CAC.
- Have experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Be physically able to walk or stand for 6-8 hours per day.
- Be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Be able to quickly learn and adapt to new circumstances.
- Be reliable and have a can-do attitude.
- Be self-motivated, organized, efficient, and process-oriented.
- Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
- Offer problem solving skills with the ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems, and recommend solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Familiarity with Federal/DoD real property management preferred.
- Prior military experience is preferred.
- CAD or GIS background is preferred.
- ePRISMS, survey, and/or Lidar experience is preferred.

Compensation: The compensation will be competitive and commensurate with the candidate’s skills and experience. This position includes health care and retirement benefits.
