THE OPPORTUNITY

Fulton Hogan are recruiting for the West Region Delivery Team on the Sydney Water P4S program. We are inviting applications from Environmental Coordinators to join our collaborative delivery team.

You will be an experienced Environmental Coordinator, able to commence within the next 2 months, and have exposure to the water or utilities (power/gas) sector. You will be a competent and confident environmental professional who can communicate effectively with stakeholders and influence positive project outcomes on long term programs of work.

THE ROLE

These roles will be responsible for providing;

  • Contribute to the achievement of the contracts environmental objectives and targets

  • Develop environmental project delivery documentation, including Construction Environment Management Plans (CEMP), Environmental Work Method Statements (EWMS) and Environmental Control Maps (ECM) to ensure compliance with the project Planning Approval Documentation

  • Carry out regular site inspections to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with CEMP/EWMS/ECM

  • Assist in coaching and mentoring personnel on environmental management by developing and delivering training programs

  • Gather data and report environmental performance

  • Ensure clear and efficient communication between personnel and Sydney Water on all environmental issues

  • Identifying environmental risks and identify solutions

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • Tertiary qualified in Environmental Science or other related discipline

  • Considerable skill and experience in Commonwealth and State environmental legislation

  • Knowledge of environmental constraints, issues and management principles applicable to infrastructure corridors

  • Knowledge of infrastructure design, construction and maintenance practices

  • Strong communication and presentation skills
