As Environment, Safety and Quality Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

  •  Implementation and updating safety instructions
  •  Being aware of and adhering to relevant policies, guidelines, routines, and instructions for the position in order to ensure best practices for safety, quality and the environment
  •  Participation in internal and external audits (ISO 45001 etc.)
  •  Conducting Biodiversity monitoring audits and supplier audits at logging sites
  •  Reporting and handling Occupational and Environmental incidents, root cause analysis and overseeing mitigation actions
  •  Providing trainings on EHSQ topics for own employees and contractors

As this position will serve our operations in all three Baltic States, location can flexibly be in either of our Altyus, Riga or Tallinn offices.

Who are we looking for?

In order to be successful in this role we expect you to have the following skills and experiences:

  •  Understanding of environmental/safety management principles and standards
  •  Understanding of certification and quality control processes
  •  Experience with occupational safety management 
  •  Knowledge of biodiversity conservation
