Job Details
ChristianaCare is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the ENT/Urology surgical services team providing pre and post-operative care at our Newark Campus. In collaboration with Urology and ENT supervising physicians, the NP/PA will be a First Responder for calls and consultations from the floors and emergency department. Care primarily includes performing consultations, hospital admissions, peri-operative exams, provide pre-operative consents and clearance, and bedside procedures.
The selected candidate will work 12 hour shifts with flexible hours 3 out of the 4 weekends. Opportunity to pick up shifts during the week is an option as well.
Weekendist Stipend
Extra $10,000.00 for covering weekends.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Physician Assistant candidates must be a graduate of an ARC-PA accredited program and be certified or eligible for certification by the NCCPA.
Nurse Practitioners must be a graduate from an accredited program and be certified or eligible for certification. Acute Care Certification requirements
Must be licensed or be license eligible in Delaware.
Surgical experience preferred.
