Job Overview
Applied Systems, Inc., a worldwide leader in insurance technology, is currently looking for an Entry Level Associate Project Manager to join our Activation Services team. This is an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in project management. This role is ideal for recent college graduates eager to learn by working closely with a seasoned Project Manager. You'll assist with customer projects, help maintain project administration tasks, and gradually build the skills needed to lead your own projects in the future. What You'll Do

• Project Planning and Execution
  • Assist project leadership in completing deliverables on time and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Help gather and document client requirements, assisting in translating them into actionable project tasks.
  • Track project expenses and support budget management to keep projects on track financially.
  • Prepare, build, and send regular project status reports to clients and internal teams.
  • Organize and maintain project files, documentation, and any associated administrative records.
• Client Support
  • Facilitate regular communication with clients and team members, ensuring everyone is informed of project progress and changes.
  • Accurately document customer interactions, project progress, completed tasks, and next steps.
  • Build productive working relationships with clients, helping them stay aligned with project goals.
• Professional Development
  • Work side-by-side with an experienced Project Manager to learn core project management practices, from planning to execution.
  • Learn and maintain a working knowledge of our software products and workflows to better support clients.

What You'll Need to Succeed
We're looking for someone who:

• Can work from the Applied Systems Downtown Chicago office 3 days a week.

Your experience should include some or all of the following:

• Bachelor's degree in business, communications, project management, or a related field.
• Eager to develop project management skills under the guidance of a seasoned professional.
• A desire to help clients succeed, with strong listening skills and a solutions-oriented approach.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with clients and internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain detailed records.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
• Interest in learning about software products and workflow optimization.

Additionally, you may have:

• Speak French
• Project Management training
• Client Management skills
• Software experience
