Job Description
As a Data Analyst at Rockwell, you will apply analytical skills and experience to transform data into actionable insights that drive business decisions. This role involves working with multiple business functions to understand their data needs, building data models, and create quality data products for systems or reports. You will begin in our Demand to Renew (D2R) program, which is transforming our selling and service capabilities through the implementation of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud. You and the team will play an important role in data analysis, mapping, cleansing, and quality for this transformation.
You will report to Director Commercial Innovation and Design and will work from one of our offices based in Milwaukee, Mequon or Mayfield Heights.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Mapping:
- Gather, clean and analyze data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns.
- Analyze existing data structures and requirements to create comprehensive data mapping documentation.
- Develop and maintain databases and data systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data needs and translate them into applicable data mapping strategies, including API integration for data extraction and transformation.
- Work with Data Architect and Data Product Owners to use available infrastructure or create new models for the future.
Data Cleansing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and execute data cleansing processes to improve data quality and integrity within Salesforce.
- Establish data quality standards and conduct ongoing data quality checks, addressing issues promptly with Data Stewards and subject matter experts.
- Represent relevant Data needs during program testing
Data Security and Compliance:
- Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations and standards, implementing data access controls and encryption.
- Collaborate with security and compliance teams to address data-related concerns.
Team Collaboration
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, data engineering, and business functions, to align data projects with organizational goals and support data-driven decision-making.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor's degree.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
The Preferred - You may also Have:
- A minimum of 5 years of related experience, in data management, digital or enterprise transformation programs.
- Proficiency in SQL, data management technologies, including data analysis and mapping, data migration, and API integration.
- Experience with data architecture, data modeling, data wrangling, and well versed with Microsoft Azure Technology (or any similar cloud technology)
- Certification in data management, Salesforce.com, or related fields.
- Experience in the industrial automation or manufacturing sector.
