Cboe is one of the World’s largest Exchange operators. The Enterprise System Engineering team is responsible for building and maintaining the servers, storage, OS, and configuration of all back-office environments. As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with the latest hardware, build in house automation and monitoring tools, and make meaningful contributions to the company.
As an Enterprise Systems Engineer you will be responsible for designing, engineering, and delivering solutions for Infrastructure and customer-based initiatives. Provide resolutions for medium to complex customer issues and requests. Develop and document processes and procedures for ongoing management of applications and Windows Servers and Back-office environments.
Additional responsibilities include:

Maintaining accurate records of PC and Server hardware and software licenses, and environment changes

Ensuring key systems are highly available and continue functioning during a disaster.

Building and maintaining thorough monitoring tools that clearly show problems and minimize false positives.

Participate in on-call rotation that consists of periodic daytime on-call and infrequent weekend on-call.

Mentor and elevate less experienced team members.

Build processes with accurate documentation and be able to cross train others.
The ideal candidate has:
-
3+ years of experience in an enterprise setting
-
Previous experience and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Cloud Technologies - Microsoft 365, Endpoint Manager, Exchange Online, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Entra ID, Conditional Access Policies, Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps.

Extensive expertise in Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy (GPO), Exchange Server, DFS and File Services, and SQL Server.

Strong knowledge and experience with backup solutions such as NetBackup or Commvault.

Comprehensive knowledge and enthusiasm for automating tasks using PowerShell and Graph API. Proficient in automation and configuration management systems such as SCCM, along with a solid understanding of core principles. Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, Horizon VDi technologies, and Azure Virtual Desktop.

Understanding of Certificate management, deployment and architecture.
