As a Corporate Enterprise Software Account Manager, you will be working as a key member within an agile, dynamic team that is leading Corporate Veterinary Groups, the fastest growing segment within the full service veterinary market. Primary responsibility is to execute account specific Software acquisition and growth strategies, as defined in customer account plans. You will work closely with the Associate Director (overarching Corporate Account liaison) & Corporate Account Manager (associated with the Diagnostic business) and the Corporate Customer to align strategic objectives, software adoption and growth plans. Through frequent customer interactions, act as a thought partner and decision influencer to assigned groups of Corporate and Strategic Accounts. Partners with the customer and Enterprise Software LOB & Associate Director to create effective business programs that will grow and sustain both IDEXX and the customer’s economic goals.

In the role of Enterprise Software Account Manager:

You will serve as the day-to-day contact for assigned corporate and strategic accounts. Act as a thought partner and decision influencer to develop, support, strengthen and grow an assigned group of Corporate Accounts. Develop, evolve and strengthen strategic partnerships and relationships across the C-Suite and those directly related to decision making for Software and Systems solutions.  Partner to create effective business programs that will grow and sustain both IDEXX and the customer’s economic goals.  Partner with the Enterprise Software Leadership teams, and aligned ecosystems; product, implementation, marketing & support, for fulling customers needs based on their strategic goals to execute a loyal software partnership. Align with the Associate Director on join strategies and conduct periodic business reviews as needed.  Manage customer expectations and monitor performance against customer goals.  Identify business and economic challenges of practices; recommend, drive and implement solutions.  Immediately address customer escalation issues for corporate account critical care issues. Partner cross-functionally across IDEXX Organization to facilitate and coordinate business, sales, and technical assistance in support of the Corporate Account business plans and programs.  Coordinate and own large scale rollouts between Corporate liaisons and internal teams; planning and execution of product installations, training, technical review and other key deliverables (including field travel when needed). Identify and schedule project and program deliverables, milestones, and required tasks. Coordinate with internal stakeholders for communication and management for effective implementation of all price increases, contract rules, and incentive rebate payments. Act as project / implementation lead for oversight with Corporate liaisons.  Manage tasks and timelines across all functions, ensuring activities are completed to meet time, cost, quality and customer expectations. 

What you need to succeed:

  • 5-7 years of Strategic, Enterprise or Key Account Management sales experience.

  • Enterprise SaaS preferred.

  • Demonstrated success in creating and growing strategic customer relationships, loyalty, and business plans and programs.

  • In-depth business acumen with broad industry view.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and presentation skills.  Ability to present and explain information in a way that establishes rapport; persuades others; and gains understanding.

  • Experience presenting and communicating with c-suite executives

  • Mentor and coach to customers and peers.

  • Demonstrated success in persuasion and negotiation.

  • Solves problems independently and assumes responsibility.

  • Works under minimal supervision

  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint

Travel Requirements:

  • 25% travel required
