WORK ENVIRONMENT:

We are a remote first company.  This means while we do have permanent offices in strategic locations, the majority of our employees live and work from their place of choice in the United States.  The Account Executive position requires  the ability to make trips of 2-3 days a few times a month. Typical travel requirements include visiting prospective clients, participating in trade shows, and attending in-person company meetings.

POSITION SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced Account  Executive to drive the sale of Nymbus services and products that enable banks and credit unions to to accelerate their growth through new routes to market.  The Account Executive accomplishes this through understanding the prospective customer’s business objectives and then jointly building a vision of customer success leveraging the Nymbus solution set. This opportunity could be for you if you have experience with:

  • Consultative vision setting
  • Digital banking transformation
  • Developing new and existing sales territories 
  • Working in or with financial institutions to uncover needs and define best in class solutions  

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify banks and credit unions looking to grow through digital transformation
  • Identify banks and credit unions seeking to modernize through banking core replacement
  • Develop an assigned territory to achieve sales targets and strategic goals
  • Understand each prospect's business environment
  • Effectively communicate at all levels of the prospect organization
  • Identify opportunities based on the available Nymbus solutions, industry trends and market activities.
  • Build and foster long-term relationships and referrals with key leaders in the banking and financial services sectors; identify new market and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare sales related reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information
  • Develop and maintain sales forecast and pipeline as well as negotiate and close business to meet sales objectives

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with 5+ years of enterprise sales experience
  • Knowledge of banking software (core, digital banking, etc) and banking operations.
  • Proven ability of creating deep, trusted relationships with C-level Executives and decision makers
  • Use a consultative approach to diagnose prospect needs and create a vision of the solution 
  • Strong presentation and communication skills are essential
  • Sales proficiency:  Relationship building, negotiation, persuasion and overcoming objections
  • New logo sales experience

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive Base Salary plus Commission Plan
  • Annual Cash Bonus and Equity Options commensurate with the role level and experience
