About the Role
Are you ready to lead the charge in one of the fastest-growing regions in tech? Aerospike is on the hunt for a bold, high-performing Enterprise Sales Executive to drive new business and ignite growth across Indonesia and Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the forefront of our APJ sales strategy, owning a portfolio of high-value strategic accounts. From landing new logos to maximizing renewals, upsells, and cross-sells, you’ll have the autonomy and support to take the territory to the next level. As a Sales Executive at Aerospike, you’ll be a key driver of growth across the region—crafting and executing strategic sales initiatives that make a real impact. You’ll combine the mindset of a relentless hunter, always chasing the next big opportunity, with the precision of a skilled farmer, cultivating deep relationships and long-term value within key accounts. Key Responsibilities

  • Acquire new enterprise logos and expand existing strategic accounts through cross-sell and upsell strategies.
  • Effectively engage and sell to enterprise-level customers by aligning Aerospike’s value propositions with business-critical challenges.
  • Consistently meet or exceed annual revenue goals and performance metrics.
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships across all levels of customer organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams (Support, Product Management, Engineering, etc.) to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term success.
  • Identify and partner with key system integrators and technology partners to co-develop tailored solutions.
  • Drive account retention and growth by achieving expansion and renewal targets within named accounts.
  • Deliver impactful presentations and product demos, leveraging sales enablement tools for forecasting, lead generation, and reporting.
  • Maintain deep product knowledge and communicate Aerospike’s differentiators and latest capabilities with clarity and confidence.
  • Qualify opportunities effectively and guide them through the full sales cycle with a focus on value-based selling.
  • Provide actionable insights and feedback to Sales Leadership, Product Management, and Marketing to improve offerings and processes.
  • Accurately manage sales pipeline and forecasting using Salesforce.com.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of enterprise sales experience, ideally in enterprise databases, infrastructure, or SaaS.
  • A consistent track record of exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proficient with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other sales enablement tools.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with partners and internal teams.
  • Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
  • Knowledge of the enterprise IT landscape in Indonesia and Malaysia is highly desirable.
  • Must be fluent in Bahasa.

Experience

  • 10+ years of sales and account management experience in a software or technology company.
  • Deep experience in farming enterprise accounts across the ASEAN region.
  • Strong background selling into the banking and financial services sector in ASEAN.
  • Consistently overachieved sales targets for the past 5 years.
  • Experience in database sales is a strong plus.
  • Background in product sales is highly preferred.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a plus.
