About this role

You’ll be joining our Enterprise Sales team to become a key member in acquiring new enterprise customers in the small commercial lines insurance vertical. As our Enterprise Sales Director, you’ll help lead the charge in adding large players in the insurance space to Semsee, including MGAs, wholesalers, enterprise agencies, and carriers.

In This Role You will:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy targeting enterprise clients, specifically insurance carriers and large agencies
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, aiming to increase Semsee's footprint in the commercial lines vertical
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders at enterprise accounts.
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline, ensuring healthy prospect flow and regular pipeline reviews.
  • Leverage CRM tools to track sales activities, opportunities, and client engagement effectively.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on sales performance metrics, adjusting strategy as needed to meet or exceed targets.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and integration of new clients.
  • Relay market insights and feedback to product and marketing teams, contributing to the continuous improvement of Semsee's offerings.
  • Represent Semsee at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, strengthening the brand's reputation in the insurance space.


You’re Well Qualified for this Role if You Have:

  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a proven track record of closing large, complex deals.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in Insurtech, insurance, or SaaS solutions for the commercial insurance industry is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in managing long sales cycles and driving new business in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to convey complex value propositions clearly.
  • Strong strategic thinker with a consultative sales approach, able to understand client needs and customize solutions accordingly.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software (e.g., HubSpot) and sales performance analytics tools.
  • High level of self-motivation, organization, and accountability.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Adaptable and resilient, with a results-driven mindset.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive Compensation: Base salary $130,000 to $150,000 with OTE of $250,000 to $300,000
