The Enterprise SaaS Staff Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management and support of Microsoft 365 technologies. This role requires a deep understanding of the Microsoft 365 products and solutions, security protocols, advanced troubleshooting, and administration of the service. The Senior Engineer will also play a critical role in leading projects, mentoring support engineers, and ensuring the service's scalability, security, and efficiency. 

In addition to the specific responsibilities outlined above, employees may be required to perform other such duties as assigned by the Company. This ensures operational flexibility and allows the Company to meet evolving business needs.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Microsoft Management: Take ownership and be the subject matter expert of our Microsoft solution, continuously researching and advising on implementing new features to ensure optimal performance and fit for the organization.
  • Feature Research & Evaluation: Stay up to date with new features released by Microsoft and evaluate their relevance, feasibility, and benefits for the organization.
  • Email Systems Oversight: Architect and manage all aspects of email services, including MTA (Mail Transfer Agent), DKIM, DMARC, SMTP, and related services to ensure seamless email delivery.
  • SMTP Management in AWS: Ensure proper SMTP mail flow is maintained in AWS, address any related issues, and advise on any updates or changes.
  • Azure Services Ownership: Own the architecture, management, configuration, and optimization of services within Microsoft Azure, including enterprise applications, ensuring they are properly tuned to meet organizational needs.
  • Group Management Oversight: Build, maintain, and own Microsoft 365 groups, distribution lists, and security group creation processes, both manual and automated, ensuring proper workflows are in place.
  • Identity Provisioning & Automation: Lead the management of identity provisioning and security groups, evaluate and improve group creation processes, and minimize manual intervention using automation tools.
  • Microsoft Power Automate: Leverage Power Automate to automate group management workflows, including creating distribution lists from group members and continuously improving the process.
  • Microsoft Defender: Leverage Defender to deploy various security components for added threat protection.

THE STATS
What we’re looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Strong proficiency and experience with SaaS Application Engineering and ownership of Enterprise IT applications and tools
  • Proven ability working with Microsoft 365 technologies, products, and concepts including but not limited to – Office 365 Identity Management, OneDrive, Power Automate, Power Apps, Defender, etc.
  • Working knowledge on Microsoft 365 E5 implementation and features including advanced security, compliance, and analytics capabilities.
  • Microsoft 365 certifications preferred such as Administrator Expert, Security Administrator Associate, Messaging Administrator Associate.
  • Experience with SSO best practices with SaaS application integrations.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently with strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Must be willing to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours work for maintenance or emergencies.
  • Must be willing to travel to office sites on a needs basis.

The applicable salary range for this position is $146,000 - $182,000 USD, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
