Bluesight is seeking a passionate Regional Sales Director (RSD) to drive revenue and growth within our organization. This is a direct sales “hunter” role. The RSD is responsible for the end-to-end sales processes of our Privacy SaaS solutions. This position will target VP and director-level contacts within new accounts. The RSD will be responsible for achieving an Annual Recurring Revenue quota based on closing opportunities within the product line. They will be working with our Marketing and Business Development teams to drive pipeline – and with the VP of Sales to drive and close new business. SaaS selling experience is a critical requirement of this opportunity. They will be responsible for sales growth by driving measurable revenue results, leading and cultivating existing client relationships, and bringing the highest level of value to our clients. We are open to candidates based anywhere in the US, they are not required to live in a specific city or region.
Representative Responsibilities:
- Prospect, develop, and qualify new business sales in a designated territory
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and quotas
- Provide accurate and timely reporting of pipeline, account plans, and regional management activities in Bluesight’s CRM tool (currently SalesForce.com)
- Maintain knowledge of competitors and industry trends and be able to articulate to clients Bluesight’s value and differentiation
- Establish positive and long-term client relationships through prospecting and conducting meetings with clients and partners
- Negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery terms with clients
- Anticipate and communicate potential sales risks, issues, or dependencies
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly pipeline and forecast goals as well as other defined objectives
- Effectively and succinctly convey the value of Bluesight products
- Assist Account Executives in developing and closing new business opportunities
- Build and maintain fluency in big data technologies and the healthcare market
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years outside sales experience
- 3+ years of full cycle sales of a B2B SaaS product
- 10+ years of professional experience in a SaaS sales role required (specific experience selling into hospital CISO / Privacy / Compliance Executives a plus)
- Experience in leading a complex sales process from start to finish while including relevant stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to reach sales goals and produce high-quality results
- Extraordinary client focus skills and top-notch presentation skills
- Ability to influence others including senior-level and C-suite staff
- Ability to travel, typically 2-3 trips per quarter
