We are looking for an Enterprise Architect to join our team. The goal of an Enterprise Architect at Wisk is to define and implement an enterprise systems and data strategy well aligned with our business goals. You will be part of the Information Technology team that leads and drives transformational change across Enterprise Systems and will work closely with our Engineering organization.
This is a hybrid work opportunity. At Wisk, this means working onsite at our Mountain View office 3 days per week with flexibility for the remainder of the days.
In this role you will own the architecture of our enterprise systems end-to-end. You will focus on understanding business requirements by engaging with key stakeholders, performing architecture-level trade studies, and defining and implementing enterprise system architectures. The scope of your analysis will include systems, data management, workflows, integrations, and data analytics.
What you will do:
- You will lead the creation and implementation of a comprehensive enterprise systems and data strategy, including top-level enterprise systems architecture, data quality standards, data governance policies, data access controls, and data retention guidelines.
- You will develop a roadmap for the implementation of the enterprise systems and data strategy (including data analytics).
- You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements for the enterprise systems and data architecture.
- You will design and implement system and data architectures, performing architecture-level tradeoff studies regarding master data management and integrations between ERP, PLM, MES, and other enterprise systems.
- You will participate in the selection and configuration of enterprise systems.
- You will establish and maintain data governance practices to ensure data quality, security, and compliance with regulations.
- You will design and build efficient data models to represent the organization's data, including defining relationships between entities and attributes.
- You will evaluate, select and implement appropriate data management technologies and tools to support the data architecture.
- You will evaluate, select and implement appropriate data analytics technologies.
- You will evaluate and implement AI and ML technologies when they have a tangible benefit on the business.
- You will work as a technical coordinator between Wisk and its enterprise systems vendors in implementing the defined architecture.
- You will look for opportunities to continuously improve the enterprise systems and data strategy, prioritize and integrate these improvements in the roadmap, and execute on them in a timely manner.
- You will help support problem solving activities driving efficiencies in our business and system processes
Requirements:
- You have a BS in Computer Science or MIS, with 12 years of experience or Masters with 8 years of experience
- You have worked in the Aerospace industry or similar regulated industries with internal manufacturing.
- You have hands-on experience working with Enterprise systems such as ERP, PLM, MES. Specific experience with Siemens tool (Teamcenter, Opcenter) is desirable.
- You have experience working with ITAR and License Required environments
- You have a strong understanding of data models and database architectures
- You have a broad understanding of enterprise security and how to build systems that are robust and secure
- You have in-depth experience in data analytics, and are up to date on the latest trends in AI and ML and how they can be converted into tangible benefits for the business.
- You are able to work across diverse teams and bring together ideas into solutions.
