The Role

We are seeking a dedicated Enterprise Architect specializing in hire-to-retire processes to join our broader Enterprise Architecture team representing the Chief Information Officer (CIO). This vital role involves streamlining business processes and enhancing digital capabilities by eliminating redundancies within our digital product portfolio, as well as formulating architectural decisions to tackle complex business challenges.

The successful candidate will provide technical leadership for hire-to-retire processes around employee lifecycle management including recruitment, performance management, learning, compensation, payroll, and benefits administration capabilities deployed on our Workday platform.  This role requires collaboration with Architects across business domains to ensure the proper fit for capabilities within our systems. 

Additionally, this role requires developing and managing an IT roadmap aligned with our business strategy and fostering innovation in self-service support and automation. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record of enhancing digital work environments and a strong commitment to data integrity and excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop process-to-system maps detailing hire-to-retire processes and their associated data flows
  • Promote and mature a platform-first strategy around employee lifecycle management capabilities in Workday.
  • Analyze and eliminate redundancy and inefficiencies within the digital product portfolio resulting in streamlined end-to-end business processes and the enhancement of the enabling capabilities
  • Perform comprehensive trade studies and formulate architectural decisions to address complex business challenges with clear recommendations for optimal solutions
  • Develop and manage an IT roadmap that provides visibility into current and future projects, their alignment with business strategy, and their interdependencies
  • Ensure the integrity and excellence of data management within LeanIX, accurately depicting the digital product portfolio and its intricate relationships with business processes, capabilities, components, and data objects

The compensation range for this position in the US is $167,000 to $318,840 based on a full-time schedule. Your actual compensation may vary depending on your geography, job-related skills, and experience.  For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.  The pay or salary range will not be below any applicable state, city, or local minimum wage requirement.

This position will be eligible for Kyndryl's discretionary annual bonus program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Kyndryl's applicable plans.  You may also receive a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental coverage, disability, retirement benefits, paid leave and paid time off.  Note: if this is a sales commission eligible role, you will be eligible to participate in a sales commission plan in lieu of the annual discretionary bonus program.

  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years proven engineering and architecture experience supporting the human capital management domain
  • Strong background in architecture methodology
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience modeling and streamlining critical end-to-end business processes
  • Practical experience with HR systems and tooling specifically related to Workday
  • Familiarity with ITSM systems and the relationships of their capabilities with HR business processes
  • Knowledge in the HR domain including learning tools and practices, benefits management, payroll processes, etc.
