Snapshot of the Role:

We’re seeking a dynamic Enterprise Account Executive to join our MasterClass at Work sales team. In this role, you’ll drive revenue growth by acquiring new logos and expanding relationships with Fortune 1000 companies. Managing a defined territory of large enterprise accounts (5k+ FTEs), you’ll position our platform as the go-to solution for their learning and development needs. What You Will Do:

  • Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to close, for large enterprise accounts.
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory plan, prioritizing high-value ICP and buyer personas.
  • Build and maintain strategic account plans to uncover opportunities and grow existing relationships.
  • Generate leads through outbound prospecting and complement inbound opportunities.
  • Engage executive-level decision-makers in HR, Talent Management, L&D, and related functions.
  • Conduct discovery sessions to understand and address a prospect’s top priorities.
  • Present our product suite’s value proposition to diverse audiences, from technical to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, customer success, marketing) to ensure client success.
  • Stay informed on industry trends to serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR and Learning Executives.
  • Consistently exceed quotas and revenue targets while maintaining accurate pipeline forecasts.

About You (Requirements):

  • Intrinsically motivated and mission-driven.
  • Thrive in fast-paced, high-growth environments, even when ambiguity is present.
  • Proven track record of exceeding personal and sales targets.
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years in a quota-bearing enterprise sales role (5-10 years preferred).
    • Managing complex sales cycles and closing high-value SaaS deals, ideally with HR buyers.
    • Proven success with deal sizes: $25k-$50k minimum, $100k-$300k average, and $1M+ enterprise deals.
  • Strategic in top-funnel activities like territory planning, prospecting, discovery, and deal qualification.
  • Consultative, value-based selling skills that establish you as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
  • Exceptional communicator and presenter with a knack for simplicity and impact.
  • Familiarity with sales tools (Salesforce, Apollo IO, Sales Navigator, Clari) is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; additional sales training or certifications (e.g., Challenger) are a bonus.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and close deals (This is otherwise a remote position.)

Salary Range:

$100,000 – $150,000 USD annualized base salary + performance-based bonus plan.

For example, on-target earnings (OTE) potential may range from $200,000 – $300,000 USD, reflecting a 50/50 split between base salary and on-target commission when sales goals are met


The salary range listed is for NYC/CA/WA. As a company, we have a location-based strategy, which means the disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location where the position may be filled.

MasterClass’s salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size and industry. In addition to salary, we also offer equity and comprehensive benefits (medical, dental, vision, flexible PTO, and more).
