Overview:
We’re looking for an Agile Team Engineering Manager to lead and inspire our teams in a hands-on, dynamic environment. If you’re a technology enthusiast with a passion for leadership, this role offers a great mix of technical and managerial responsibilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
Managing Agile Teams: Oversee and guide 2-3 Agile tech capabilities working across various technology stacks, including:

Team Leadership: This role includes 5-6 direct reports, providing a unique opportunity to lead, mentor, and coach talented team members. Offer hands-on support to teams as needed, and foster an environment of growth and innovation.
Driving Innovation: Champion and drive innovation within and outside the teams, exploring new ideas and pushing boundaries to achieve our technology goals.
Strategic Collaboration: Partner closely with Technology colleagues, senior leaders, and key business stakeholders to develop and implement technology strategies, as well as to shape the architecture and design of solutions.
Culture Building: Lead efforts to cultivate a collaborative, passionate, and forward-thinking team culture that encourages continuous improvement and excellence.
Education and Experience Required:

This role requires a unique blend of technical skills and leadership experience. Candidates should have a solid background in Technology, along with proven experience in people management and a passion for fostering team success.

A combined minimum of 9 years’ higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 4 years’ engineering and/or architecture experience and 3 years leadership experience.

Must have strong experience in C#/.Net, Angular, & SQL. ServiceNow is highly preferred.

M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $110,635.01 - $184,391.68 Annual (USD). The successful candidate’s particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
