Moderna is expanding its presence in Clayton, Melbourne, at our new GMP Manufacturing facility. This site is a key part of our mission to deliver the greatest possible impact through mRNA medicines. Our facility in Clayton is dedicated to ensuring the rapid production and delivery of life-saving treatments, and we're seeking professionals to join us on this journey to revolutionize healthcare.

Based at our new GMP Manufacturing facility in Melbourne, Clayton, this position reports to the Plant Engineering Manager and will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the administration of the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). The CMMS Administrator will oversee all routine and non-routine calibration and maintenance work orders and ensure that the system operates efficiently in accordance with site policies and procedures.

This role is critical to the daily operation of the CMMS in support of Moderna’s GxP facility and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a leading-edge biotechnology company transforming healthcare globally.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Oversee the daily operation of the CMMS system for a GxP facility.

  • Manage data and workflows in CMMS following Moderna's policies, focusing on Facilities/Engineering/Validation (FEV) groups.

  • Act as the SME, providing training to personnel on asset management and equipment release.

  • Establish and maintain calibration, maintenance, and validation schedules for GxP process systems and equipment.

  • Keep asset statuses in CMMS up to date, ensuring alignment with GxP operations.

  • Support purchasing and cost controls related to maintenance expenses.

  • Handle change/work requests and triage them for on-demand activities in the CMMS.

Your responsibilities will also include:

  • Provide oversight of metrics and reports to drive key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Assist in generating site KPIs and metrics reports to support compliance and performance goals.

  • Support the processing of calibration/maintenance certificates for Metrology and Maintenance groups.

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.

  • Assist in compliant execution of calibration and maintenance activities as required.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:

  • Engineering Degree, Trade school, or equivalent preferred.

  • 2 – 4 years of applicable GxP experience preferred.

  • Experience with CMMS administration required.

  • Experience with Maximo Asset Manager preferred.

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe suites

  • Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and Engineering drawing sets.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail and organization.

  • Strong desire and passion to learn

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Professional work attitude.

  • Experience with collaborating with a diverse group of customers.
