BAE Systems, a provider of some of the world's most advanced, technology-led defense, aerospace, and security systems is seeking a highly motivated and highly experienced Engineering Support Organization Leader to deliver exceptional leadership over the Engineering Project Coordinator, Technician, and Administrative Assistant teams within the Precision Strike business area.
This leader is responsible to work across Precision Strike Engineering with the discipline leaders to ensure proactive engineering support plans are in place. The right candidate will have the experience and background to be an immediate impact player. The candidate must be well organized with an ability to build strong internal customer affinity. The candidate should be an innovative self-starter capable of creating and communicating a strategic vision for the engineering support organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:

• Coordinates and manages engineering support activities across the organization

• Oversees Project Coordinator and Technician managers and drives collaboration and enables engineering efficiency

• Ensures skill development and anticipates future needs

• Interfaces with project leadership to ensure programs are adequately sourced and executed within cost and budget

• Creates and presents executive-level internal and external briefings.

• Collaborate and communicate with key stakeholders.

• Drive a high-performance culture of accountability and cast a strong shadow of leadership.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance

• Bachelor's Degree with 8+ years' experience

• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional/organizational teams

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Master's Degree
• Direct experience supporting engineering development (systems, software, hardware)

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $133333 - $226667
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
