About the Role
The Engineering Project Manager plays a vital role in managing projects, driving process improvements, and fostering seamless collaboration between Product and Engineering teams. This role requires a curiosity of business needs and technical constraints to provide operational support that promotes transparency and accountability across Glassdoor’s products. You will partner closely with Engineering and Product Management teams, coordinating projects and initiatives that drive organizational efficiency and support the growth of Glassdoor.

What You'll Do
- Partner with engineering and product leads to manage engineering projects and see them to delivery.
- Anticipate and identify blockers that are impacting the project; work with partners to determine solutions and understand the impact to the overall project delivery.
- Lead organizational initiatives aimed at improving processes and fostering seamless collaboration between Product and Engineering teams.
- Propose and implement sustainable process changes by gathering feedback and iterating to meet organizational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement, evaluating team workflows and identifying areas for optimization.
- Understand technical infrastructure challenges and work with software engineers and product managers to devise solutions.
- Create and maintain milestone plans, implementation schedules, and related project documents for requested cross-team engineering initiatives.
- Coordinate multiple projects across development efforts, managing cross-team dependencies and keeping timelines aligned.
- Build and maintain a trusted, collaborative relationship with partners and create an atmosphere of shared ownership of the success of the project: embrace the servant leader mindset and be a team player
- Proactively orchestrate the update of cross-team roadmap status reports to keep partners advised of quarterly roadmap status and related initiatives.
- Seek continuous improvement: work with your partners to evaluate how things are working and how it can be improved.
- Perform other duties as requested to help improve our engineering culture and support our goal of operational excellence.
What You'll Bring

- At least 1-2 years of Technical Project Management experience in large scale Web-based architecture and Technology Platforms
- Experience leading Agile development processes at scale
- Consistent track record of partnership with Software Engineering Stakeholders
- The ability to handle multiple technical projects simultaneously in a cross-functional environment with stakeholders in multiple regions
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical teams in a clear and concise manner

Compensation and benefitsBase salary range*: $84,500 - $112,200
*Glassdoor base salaries are targeted to the market 75th percentile for technical roles and the 65th percentile for non-technical roles. In other words, 65-75% of comparable organizations in our industry will pay less.
Annual bonus target**: 10%**Bonuses are paid in 6-month intervals, aligning with bi-annual performance reviewsGenerous Restricted Stock Units (RSU):***Restricted Stock Units (RSU) are awarded at hire and may be refreshed annually.
