We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Project Leader to join our team.

Your Role

• Lead technical projects in Control Module Development for Autonomous Driving (ADAS), overseeing tasks in Systems, Hardware, Software, and Integration Engineering.
• Act as the technical escalation point and collaborate with global teams to resolve complex cross-functional issues.
• Represent Aptiv as the technical counterpart for customers and participate in product strategy and architecture discussions.
• Manage technical risks, design reviews, engineering deliverables, and compliance with organizational policies and processes.
• Oversee technical change requests, scope evaluations, and ensure effective tracking of project milestones and issue resolutions.
• Contribute to resource planning, MCIP execution, and mentoring of Technical Managers to ensure project excellence.
• Drive lessons learned sessions, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives across projects.

Your Background

Key ingredients for succeeding in this role are your:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering graduate BE/ B. Tech / ME/ M. Tech (Electronics / Electricals / Computer)
• #EXP[10-15]
• 10 Years’ Experience in Development of Electronic Control (Systems Engineering, Hard- & Software Engineering), ideally in Safety Electronics respectively ADAS (Radar, Camera, Sensor platforms)
• Profound Experience in direct contact to multiple customers (OEMs), ideally also in direct supplier & sub-supplier handling
• Profound Knowledge in Automotive Development
• Multiple Experience in Leading interdisciplinary project teams, ideally also of internationally spread teams
• Knowledge about Product Development Processes (e.g.Spice), ideally founded experience in ISO26262 process & development according to this or similar FUSA standards
• Engineering Degree in Electronics, Physics or equivalent discipline, ideally additional Knowledge in specific disciplines, e.g. High-Speed/Frequency Design, Mechanics, Tooling, Thermodynamics, Software development for Real Time applications
