The Retail Technology unit delivers the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers and to do so is responsible for digital delivery, group data and analytics, technology and technology infrastructure, cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience for all divisions across CBA. It is also dedicated to delivering the best workplace technology experience for our over 53.000 people across CBA and focused on providing the latest tools, technology, and resources to enhance the way we work together and empower our people to achieve more for our customers.
This role specifically is within the Identity & Access crew where you will have an opportunity to lead the future of our Identity & Access DevOps team while managing critical Customer Authorisation and Authentication assets, ensuring the day to day operations of these critical assets, managing security updates, and playing a pivotal role in helping us manage maintain and shape the future of Identity and Access related platforms. You will be at the forefront of emerging Identity technologies as we transition from Legacy technology stacks to a modernised identity platform, comprising of Retail, Group and Business Identity platforms
We’re interested in hearing from people who:

Have demonstrated knowledge of leading Engineering teams including coaching, best practice and optimising support processes for incident, change and problem management.

Are sound with Customer Authorisation and Authentication systems management including day to day operations of a highly critical production platform leveraged by upto 9 million Customers and a vast amount of internal channels
-
Are knowledgeable in Identity and Access Management as well as underlying security policies protocols and concepts
-
Are constantly applying and promoting industry best patterns and practices

Have solid experience in Software Development, Operational Management DevOps and SRE
-
Are able to work on a rotating on call roster once every 4 weeks or as required
Tech skills & experience:
We use a broad range of tools, languages, and frameworks. We have an expectation that you will have advanced knowledge of the following;

Identity and Access Management
-
Solid understanding of Authentication and Authorisation principles and related protocols including but not limited to SSO, SAML, LDAP, OAuth, OIDC and FIDO

Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux
-
Programming languages such as Java, .Net, Python, Golang
-
DevOps and CI/CD tooling with Github, Jenkins, Bamboo or similar
-
Databases such as SQL, Oracle, MongoDB, etc
