As Engineering Manager, you will play a key role in building and managing a cohesive, functional, and results-driven engineering team aligned with our ambitious 5-year business strategy.
What You’ll Be Doing:
🔹 Leading and Developing a High-Performing Engineering Team
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
- Drive performance enhancements through structured training, coaching, and succession planning
- Ensure engineering standards align with best practices in health & safety, quality, and operational excellence
🔹 Optimising Engineering Performance
- Reduce downtime through reactive and preventative maintenance strategies
- Use data and root cause analysis to identify and implement long-term improvements
- Drive capital investment planning and project execution
🔹 Managing Site Services & Compliance
- Ensure effective use and monitoring of utilities & site services
- Maintain compliance with CCL targets and provide regular reporting
- Oversee contractors, suppliers, and on-site maintenance
Qualifications
- Strong electrical bias with a background in food manufacturing or FMCG
- Proven experience in engineering leadership, site services, and H&S compliance
- Expertise in continuous improvement, root cause analysis, and capital project management
- Passionate about developing people, driving efficiency, and delivering outstanding results
