Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our frontend and backend development teams, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer (CTO).

This role requires a deep technical background, strong leadership skills, and a proven ability to manage remote teams effectively. The Engineering Manager will play a critical role in shaping our software architecture, driving technical excellence, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a fully remote development team of -20 engineers across frontend and backend disciplines
• Collaborate with CTO and Chief Al Officer to define and execute the technical vision and strategy for our products
• Oversee software architecture and ensure scalability, reliability, and maintainability of our solutions
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and team deliverables to meet company goals
• Guide the team in adopting best practices for coding, testing, and DevOps processes 
• Foster a collaborative engineering culture that emphasizes continuous improvement and innovation
• Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities to team members Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation within the team

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering or related field 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with both frontend and backend technologies (e.g., React, Python)
• Experience with DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g.,
• Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Pulumi) Strong software architecture expertise, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable systems
• Experience with AWS, including certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Developer)
• Proven ability to manage and scale remote engineering teams effectively
• A track record of delivering complex software projects on time and within budget Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Cl/C2 (advanced/proficient) level English is required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in startups or similar, fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with Al and machine learning concepts, tools, and applications
• Strong understanding of security best practices for cloud-based applications
