Amentum is seeking a Engineering Manager to join our team to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division (NSWCCD) for the Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) program. In this pivotal role, you will contribute to ensuring Fleet readiness and operational excellence by providing data-driven solutions, enhancing Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training environments, and delivering innovative engineering and cybersecurity capabilities.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages all engineering and configuration activities for this effort.
- Implements and maintains overall engineering and configuration management objectives and initiatives.
- Confronts and solves performance/operational issues to improve efficiency.
- Leads and develops the engineering and configuration management team.
- Oversees a robust project management process and delivery timelines to keep projects on schedule and on budget.
- Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.
- May give input into developing the budget.
- Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments.
Required Minimum Qualifications:
- Five (5) years of engineering and configuration experience with DoD efforts
- Three (3) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) or related field
- Experience managing dispersed workforce in support of a diverse set of systems, networks and capabilities similar to the engineering and configuration management requirements of this effort
- Familiarity with ISO 9000:2015
- Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret Clearance. US citizenship required to obtain US government clearance.
Desired:
- Advanced degree in STEM/related field or management/related field
