Hudson River Trading (HRT) is looking for an experienced, hands-on technical leader to join our growing Enterprise Security team. The Enterprise Security team is responsible for employee identity & access management, endpoint security, and safeguarding IT infrastructure both on-prem and in the cloud. As part of the Enterprise Technology organization, the Enterprise Security team seeks to secure the software, services and devices that every HRTer uses all day long.
You’ll lead a talented team of security engineers to ensure that HRTers can be safe and productive on any device, anywhere in the world. You’ll be responsible for finding creative security solutions that also make it easier and more enjoyable for HRTers to do their best work. Your day might consist of promoting passwordless login workflows or JIT access across the firm, securing directory services for our data centers, managing device posture or machine identity for 1000+ endpoints, or consulting with IT teams on securing productivity applications.
Responsibilities
- Define technical strategy for securing enterprise products and services
- Design, review, and implement robust security solutions
- Partner with vendors and engineering teams across the organization to identify, prioritize, and drive initiatives in IAM, data protection, endpoint security and more
- Foster a high-performing and inclusive team environment
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in information security
- 3+ years of experience leading a technical team
- Coding experience in at least one language (Python preferred)
- Broad knowledge across security disciplines, with depth in one or more of the following: IAM, endpoint security, cloud security, infrastructure security
- Strong ability to make principled decisions, balancing workforce productivity with security needs
- Experience working with partners throughout the business to achieve company-wide impact
Annual base salary range of $200,000 to $300,000. Pay (base and bonus) may vary depending on job-related skills and experience. A sign-on and discretionary performance bonus may be provided as part of the total compensation package, in addition to company-paid medical and/or other benefits.
