AUTHORITIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Control and issue of engineering documents including drawings, technical manuals and vendor drawings
-
Issue, receive and track to Production, Client and Regulatory Body
-
Tracking all issued documents through their approval process.

Upload and download documents to secure websites
-
Confer with document originators or engineering liaison personnel to resolve discrepancies and compile required changes to documents.
-
Operation of reproduction equipment.
-
Expedite Vendor Furnished Information (VFI) with Austal suppliers.
QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
-
Bachelor degree preferred but AA degree required
-
Minimum two plus years’ experience in drawing and technical document control
-
Demonstrated time management skills
-
Proven organizational abilities
-
Excellent written and oral communication skills
-
Confidentiality with ITAR related information required
-
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and adhere to strict deadlines
-
Ability to read drawings would be advantageous
-
Proficiency in MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
-
Experience working in an Integrated Date Environment (IDE) and familiarity with uploading/downloading documents preferred
