E Tech Group is seeking a Business Development Manager (BDM) for our Mission Critical Team to further develop the relationships with existing clients and to promote and sell our services to new data center clients throughout North America. This role reports to the Director of Business Development.

You Will:

  • Be responsible for meeting established goals and managing opportunities within our Salesforce CRM with an emphasis on customer relationship management. 
  • Develop and pursue data center projects directly with End Users and General Contractors.
  • Present our services offering emphasizing features and benefits (how we differentiate from others) and work with team members to develop and close new opportunities.
  • Build relationships and develop understanding of the customer’s goals and vision.
  • Develop an account plan for existing and new targeted accounts with focus on high likelihood of success as top priority (~5 to 10 accounts)
  • Follow the sales process to qualify opportunities and leads and move them through the pipeline.
  • Work directly with the key Managers and Program Directors to provide assistance/guidance and support the proposal process.
  • Work with Marketing to promote our products, capabilities and services.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops. Professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participate in professional societies and tradeshows.
  • Travel as required throughout assigned territory to call on new, existing and prospective customers (includes trade shows and events).
  • Be an ambassador that prioritizes the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the careers of our associates. 

 You have: 

  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 5 years’ direct outside sales experience
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals

 Nice to have:

  • Experience and contacts within the data center industry
  • An understanding of system integration within the data center vertical
  • Experience in selling DCS, HMI/SCADA and or PLC
  • Experience negotiating and selling large CAPEX, Fixed and T&M projects
