Job Description

Are you a recent graduate (0-3years) excited to dive into the world of testing and development? We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our Research & Development Engineering team as an Engineering Assistant. Reporting to the Test and Lab Manager, you’ll play an important role in our prototype building, testing, and troubleshooting activities for power supplies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prototype Building & Assembly: Lead the assembly of PCBA prototypes and power supplies.
  • Component Management: Prepare and manage electrical and mechanical components for prototype building.
  • Testing & Troubleshooting: Perform basic functional tests, EMI/EMC tests, and troubleshoot power supplies.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee R&D electrical and mechanical component inventories, product samples, and lab consumables.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure the maintenance of equipment for daily tasks.
  • Documentation: Prepare necessary documents for laboratory and equipment needs.
  • Ad Hoc Support: Assist with occasional tasks assigned by the company.

Qualifications

  • Education: Minimum ITE or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Production Engineering.
  • Experience: Fresh graduate is welcome; 2-3 years of experience in a production or R&D environment is a Plus.
  • Skills:
    • Hands-on skills in soldering, assembly, and board making.
    • Knowledge of electrical components (e.g., resistors, capacitors, inductors).
    • Proficiency in using various test equipment (E-load, oscilloscope, chamber, etc.).
    • Experience in laboratory maintenance.
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attributes:
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to details.
    • Driven and takes ownership of tasks and deliveries.
    • A team player.
