Integration Engineer- EHR + AI
You will play a critical role in designing, configuring, implementing, and optimizing our Electronic Health Record (EHR) and AI systems, driving clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

- You will collaborate with both Product and Engineering teams, bridging clinical, technical, and operational functions.
- Lead the configuration and ongoing optimization of Athena Health EHR, ensuring seamless clinical workflows and system integrity.
- Act as a prompt engineering proxy for AI Assistant optimization (e.g., Claude), training and refining models for enhanced alignment with clinical needs.
- Collaborate with Quality & Safety & Clinical Outcomes teams to design actionable reports.
- Manage Athena account setup, user onboarding, task assignments, and clinical inbox configurations, ensuring system hygiene and efficiency.

What You Will Need to Succeed: 🌱
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Health Informatics, or a related field
- 3–5 years in EHR configuration, preferably Athena Health, with exposure to AI integration in healthcare systems.
- Proven technical expertise in AI model optimization, prompt engineering, and clinical workflow design.
- Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with Python.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate, customize, and document workflows.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, data privacy, and security compliance.
- Exceptional communication skills for training, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration.
Bonus Points: ⭐
- Advanced degree (e.g., MD with engineering background or an Engineering degree focused on Healthtech).
- Certifications in Athena EHR or AI technology are a plus.
