We seek a talented and enthusiastic Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team, which specializes in delivering current and next-gen evaluation software for Analog Devices’ extensive semiconductor product portfolio. This is an exciting opportunity to work with experienced engineers on challenging projects, across a wide range of product portfolios, and learn about new technologies. The successful candidate will help define and deliver quality assurance processes and testing strategies to support ADI’s existing and growing product portfolio.

The successful candidate will have good technical experience and proficiency in software quality assurance or similar fields. A background in embedded software development or electronics/electrical engineering is an advantage as this position will involve requirements gathering and testing targeting a variety of embedded hardware platforms. Some embedded testing may be required, but this role focuses on developing and executing test plans for the desktop evaluation platform and plug-in software to ensure the quality of Analog Devices products.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with cross-functional teams for requirement gathering, product evaluation, and verification.
  • Provide software demos for product increment when needed.
  • Develop and maintain our product evaluation software.
  • Translate information from product datasheet into a software solution.
  • Provide software solutions for our evolving business requirements.
  • Work as part of a scrum team to deliver product increments
  • Create unit tests and ensure that our code coverage is maintained
  • Create test cases and implement automated tests
  • Maintain the existing automated tests

Required Skills:

  • At least 2 years of experience in .Net, C, C# or C++
  • Experience in embedded programming is a plus
  • With experience in unit testing
  • Strong understanding in Object Oriented Programming and SOLID Principles
  • Basic understanding of design patterns.
  • Comfortable working with semiconductor technical datasheets.
  • Understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Familiarity with version control software and source code repositories
  • Familiarity with agile practices and methodologies
  • Familiarity with software development tools, e.g. JIRA, GitHub
