Job Description
We're looking for an Embedded Software Engineer. In this role, you will work on developing and optimizing firmware for various Rockwell Automation products, such as Programmable Logic Controllers and communication modules. You will play a crucial role in enhancing network security and communication stacks for our PLCs.

You will report to the Manager, Embedded Software and have a hybrid schedule working in Katowice, Poland.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in requirements reviews and provide valuable feedback.
- Create and review design documentation.
- Program in C++.
- Conduct firmware defect analysis and work towards efficient solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product development.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation and Robotics, Electronics, or related IT degree.
- Experience in C/C++ (or similar) and embedded systems software development.
- Practical knowledge of embedded security concepts and principles.
- Knowledge of networking, communication protocols, and network device configuration.
- Experience with RTOSs.
- Practical experience in firmware debugging.
The Preferred - You Might Also Have:
- 2+ years of practical experience with C/C++ and embedded software development
- Experience in Agile software development.
