Team mission
We are seeking a Employee Experience & HR Specialist to help deliver an unforgettable employee experience for our GetYourGuide employees based in our Zurich HQ. It’s an exciting opportunity to support the growing employee base while bringing our culture to life, making GetYourGuide a great place to work. Based in Zurich, you will be an integral member of our Growth & Culture Team, collaborating closely with counterparts in Berlin and the Americas and liaising with our IT & Workplace teams. Your role will also cover first level HR support to our People Operations team based in Berlin which requires joint collaboration on a regular basis. You will be the experienced team member who organizes and supports everything related to the office, employee perks, HR and events.
You’ll play a key role in bringing our culture to life and make sure GetYourGuide is a great place to work and a welcoming place to visit.
You will:
- Deliver amazing employee experiences, providing the best possible support to our Zurich employees by promoting a feeling of community in line with our company culture. This would include participating in and fostering an environment that encourages personal and professional growth.
- Coordinate aspects of daily office and administration duties such as front desk, purchasing, catering, collecting signatures, filing employee documents etc.
- Ensure compliance of Health and Safety regulations and security standards.
- Provide first level HR support and advice to our employees on a broad range of topics, including onboarding, contract management, leaves, benefits or offboardings.
- Oversee data management in our HR system, Workday, for your scope and ensure high-level of accuracy.
- Own and manage Workplace services such as cleaning, access control, etc through vendors and building management ensuring best-in-class services and facilities
- Action administrative tasks such as help desk tickets, purchase orders, and invoicing.
- Manage onsite Workplace projects such as building improvement and space optimization.
Who you are
- 3+ years of experience in workplace management or similar service areas such as Hospitality or Office Management, plus or including at least 1-2 years of HR operations experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English including articulating information effectively to individuals across all levels, including C-suite and external guests.
- Proficiency in German is required.
- Strong personal commitment to quality and customer service, with an eye for details.
- Highly self-motivated and able to perform autonomously as your manager is based in Berlin.
- Proactive, able to perform multiple tasks, always seek areas of opportunity for improvement, and meet deadlines without losing track of your goals.
- A results-oriented mindset with a strong bias for action, even in ambiguous situations.
- Experience with project and events management.
- First knowledge of health and safety regulations is considered a plus
- Experience with HRIS (preferably Workday), Jira (Service Desk) and GSuite.
