Are you a recent finance or accounting graduate looking to unlock your leadership potential?

PPG Financial Leadership Development (FLD) program is a highly selective program with the primary goal of developing PPG’s future finance leaders. This program has been continuously evolving and creating top talent for over four decades.

Every year, PPG recruits high-potential individuals completing their undergraduate degree to join a cohort offering immediate peer networks and community and facilitate new, innovative ideas.

Our FLD program is an open-ended rotational development program allowing participants to explore 3-5 functions/departments throughout their time in the program. You will have the opportunity to explore finance and accounting within our manufacturing facilities, Strategic Business Units, and corporate finance functions. Participants are placed in their first assignment for 12-18 months, depending on the role, and typically support one of PPG’s US based manufacturing facilities.

In the FLD program at PPG, you will hit the ground running with direct responsibilities and accountabilities in your first assignment.

Examples of first assignments may be as a Cost Accountant, General Accountant, or Financial Analyst. During your first year in the program, you will receive in-depth knowledge of the finance function at PPG to help guide your transition into future roles. In addition to your specific role within the organization, you will also receive a mix of technical and soft-skill trainings to continually refine your leadership potential within the company.

After your first rotation, our experienced team will help guide your transition into future roles. Subsequent roles can last approximately 24 months with varying degrees of time and responsibility. Second and third roles will be based on your interests and available opportunities throughout the organization. Relocation to subsequent positions may be required and will enable career diversification and advancement.
