Job Description

Elbit Systems of America - Night Vision is seeking a talented software development engineer to develop embedded applications for military applications including live operations. The developer will provide support for ongoing software development contracts, enhance existing software tools, and develop new software products. SW Engineer will work in small development teams on all aspects of the development life cycle including requirements, design, coding, unit testing, and deployment. Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Security Clearance/MUST BE A US CITIZEN
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Equivalent
• 3+ years’ experience
• Must have C/C++ experience
• Experience in full software development life cycle
• Experience in User Interface development
• Effective communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work with a team to derive software requirements
• Experience with version control systems (subversion, git)
• Experience with Python
• Experience with embedded microprocessors (ex. STM32, TI)
• Experience with real time operating systems (ex. freeRTOS)
• Must possess basic MS Office skills; Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint…

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with GitLab or other defect tracking tools
• Experience in UX development
• Experience with Linux and/or Android development system
• Experience with various interfaces like Bluetooth, USB, I2C, UART, SPI
• Experience in Softcore / FPGA adjacent development environments (ex. Libero)
