About the role:
We are seeking an Email Marketing Specialist who is both a technical expert and creative problem solver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be excited to assume the title of “Subject Matter Expert” in all things email marketing at Equip, with a specific focus on nurturing our audience of inquiring patients and families. This is an individual contributor role, and will be responsible for hands-on creation and execution of email campaigns within our ESP.
The Email Marketing Specialist will work in collaboration with strategic leads, data, admissions, and product teams to gather and translate campaign goals into technical execution. Interested candidates should enjoy the hands-on aspect of lifecycle operations while feeling confident making recommendations to support complex business initiatives. This role will partner closely with and report directly to the Senior Manager, Lifecycle & Email Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Own the execution of a comprehensive, thoughtful email marketing program focused on driving patient acquisition and engagement
- Execute the production of new email campaigns across our email ecosystem, including building emails, asset and copy coordination, QA, and scheduling
- Devise and execute A/B tests, record results, and advise on improvements
- Develop complex user journeys using data triggers and automation workflows
- Analyze campaign performance and data through various reporting tools, tracking toward quarterly goals using a “test and learn” methodology
- Explore and execute new channels to support our inquiring patient audience email communications, including SMS, push, etc.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of professional experience in a marketing role; startup experience preferred
- 1+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on email marketing roleIn-depth, hands-on experience setting up complex programs in an ESP (Braze or Iterable a plus)
- Data-driven mindset, with experience measuring results for marketing campaigns
- Ability to work independently and develop recommendations autonomously
- Knowledge about email compliance, deliverability, and ongoing ESP health
Physical Demands
Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
