About the role

We are looking for an Email Developer - Salesforce Marketing Cloud for our growing team!

In this role, you will be in charge of producing, automating, deploying and monitoring acquisition, retention and transactional emails targeting clients and prospects for the different Intact Financial Corporation brands (namely Intact Insurance and belairdirect), throughout the various markets. To this end, you will utilize your extensive technical knowledge in email coding and deploying on the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. You will also play a key role in the evolution of the omnichannel strategy, including communications via SMS and push notifications for example. You will then be actively participating to the delivery of a wide range of initiatives directly contributing to the organization’s main business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize front-end code to deliver responsive email campaigns

• Manage the personalization, versioning and email rendering, execute pre-deployment testing, deploy campaigns and monitor email delivery through the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.

• Create, maintain and monitor automations for email & SMS campaigns.

• Participate to the determination of targeted audiences and segments for the list creation by the database team and steer requirements to implement the desired level of personalization.

• Follow technological trends, innovations and best practices in electronic communications and proactively share them with the team.

• Collaborate with the marketing advisors, internal stakeholders and the external creative agency if needed.

• Implement A/B testing, integrate dynamic content and leverage best practices in terms of email accessibility and deliverability.

• Participate to email campaigns’ performance tracking and recommend optimization and innovation opportunities.

• Liaise with IT resources for the platform’s maintenance, when required.

Qualifications & skills

• College or Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in similar role.

• Mastery of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform is required

• Experience with Adobe Campaign is a plus.

• Proficient in HTML/CSS/JavaScript, AMPscript, SQL and SSJS.

• Skilled with Photoshop and other Adobe CS products.

• Experience using email testing tools, such as Litmus.

• Strong work methodology and ability to manage time and priorities.

• Attention to details.

• Great ability to adapt to change and to tolerate stress.

• Proactive, autonomous, collaborative and solution-oriented.

• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country.

• No Canadian work experience required, but must have authorization to work in Canada.
