As an Electrical Engineer, you will:
* Develop detailed design and integration of electrical/electronic systems, sub-systems and components
* Support validation and verification activities at component, sub-system, and system test events
* Conduct Systems Engineering activities including requirements definition and electrical architecture development
* Provide engineering support to system production in manufacturing environment
* Research, plan, design, develop, modify, and evaluate electronic and electrical systems
* Perform complex calculations and develop complex engineering models and representations
* Prepare and approve engineering drawings
* Conduct or lead portions of requirements development, architecture development, interface management, verification, and validation
* Work with stakeholders to ensure products meet cost, schedule, performance and quality requirements
* Contribute to internal and external technical reviews
* Use advanced modeling and analysis tools to develop product specifications, models, simulations, technical data packages, and integration and verification procedures
* Evaluate vendor capabilities, technologies, services and ability to deliver required products or services
* Recommend design approaches for new or improved products and processes
* Provide engineering consultation to other technical groups
* Conduct and support subsystem and system integration and verification activities, manufacturing and test planning, and failure analysis
* Analyze and interpret design specifications, drawings, documentation, models, and/or test results to ensure technical designs comply with applicable engineering standards, military specifications and product requirements
In this position, you will be supporting the Combat Mission Systems (CMS) Business at our Sterling Heights, MI facility.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Recent Bachelor Electrical Engineering Graduate at an accredited college or university
• Previous Internships and Co-Op assignments applicable to Electrical Engineering
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite, 3D CAD Programs, electrical simulation/modeling tools
• Good written communication skills - this position requires ability to create clear technical documentation of analyses, methods, results, conclusions, and recommendations. Writing examples are helpful and may be requested
• Good people skills - this position requires the ability to regularly collaborate with personnel from design engineering, production, field service, management, and the customer

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $57635 - $98018
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
