We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team and take on the responsibility of leading the hardware development for our Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS). In this role, you will be in charge of designing, developing, testing, and optimizing the hardware components of our TPMS, ensuring their performance, reliability, and integration with the vehicle's systems.
General Responsibilities
• Key participant in creating designs within inter-disciplinary teams to address complex product design and manufacturing challenges
• Collaborates on feasibility studies and testing on new and modified designs
• Organizes development testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, production launch
• Key participant in failure analysis investigations and engineering evaluations
• Maintains product documentation (drawings and specifications) and lessons including; producing design reports, test reports, operating manuals and test procedures
• Collaborates with senior engineers/managers to engage with customers in soliciting product specifications requirements, schedule expectations and budget
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

Experience:
- 3-5 years of experience in hardware design and development, preferably in automotive systems, sensor integration, or embedded systems.
- Experience in the development and testing of sensor-based systems, particularly for automotive applications, is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of power management techniques and low-power design principles for embedded systems.
- Hands-on experience with circuit design, prototyping, and testing of analog and digital hardware.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency with hardware design tools (e.g., Altium, OrCAD, or similar) and simulation software (LTSpice, Multisim, or similar).
- Familiarity with wireless communication protocols.
- Experience with sensor interfaces, signal conditioning, and calibration techniques.
- Understanding of automotive standards.
- Proficient in using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other test equipment for hardware debugging and validation.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities in cross-functional teams.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Hardware Design: Design, prototype, and optimize hardware circuits for TPMS sensors, including analog and digital components, power management systems, and wireless communication modules.
- Power Management: Design low-power hardware solutions to extend battery life of TPMS sensors, ensuring efficient power consumption for long-term operation.
- Testing and Validation: Conduct thorough hardware testing and validation, including environmental testing, electrical/EMC, and long-term reliability assessments. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues as they arise.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that hardware designs comply with relevant automotive industry standards and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with embedded software engineers, mechanical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of hardware with the overall TPMS system and vehicle architecture.
- Documentation: Provide detailed technical documentation, including design schematics, testing procedures, and manufacturing specifications. Support the preparation of reports and presentations for internal teams and external partners.
- Project Management: Manage hardware development projects, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and quality standards are met. Participate in regular design reviews and progress meetings.
