Job Description
- Coordinating all EHS processes at the Antalya Avery Dennison location,
- To ensure the safety and control of the daily work of the working areas,
- Taking part in the integration of global EHS projects into the company,
- Creating an effective emergency response plan, training the workforce and coordinating the emergency action plan,
- Conducting incident investigations to identify root causes and help prevent recurrence.
- Prepare and present internal/external audits, evaluate and report audit findings, and create action plans,
- Coordinating the process of preparing periodic reports required to meet permits and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborating with relevant departments to develop strategies and actions to improve EHS performance.
- Evaluate methods, impacts, opportunities, risks and legal requirements to coordinate actions/projects to support the facility's compliance with legal requirements, operating permit and environmental protection
- Being responsible for ergonomics and occupational disease, working in coordination with the healthcare team and leading the EHS processes,
- Creating and maintaining training matrices to ensure that all training is defined and followed through to completion.
- Ensuring that sensitive, confidential and proprietary information and tact and initiative are handled confidentially and discreetly in contacts with company employees, management and external regulatory/legal institutions or resources,
- To support and encourage the development of the Occupational Health and Safety culture throughout the site,
- Coordinating technical processes parallel to EHS processes, making necessary organizations for breakdown and technical purchasing needs
- Implementing programs and developing facility specific procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory and Company requirements.
- Integration of Company and facility level EHS management systems to maintain compliance, environmental protection and safe operating conditions.
- Tracking and regularly reporting the status of regulatory compliance and improvement initiatives.
- Maintaining all governmental and corporate database records.
- Coordinating and controlling an effective accident prevention program.
- Implementing education and training to support regulatory and business requirements.
- Function as the contractor-plant representative to ensure compliance of all Process Safety Management (PSM) related requirements from contractors.
- Acting as a resource and coach to facility safety teams.
- Investigating all releases, injuries and near-misses.
- Coordinating the Job Safety Analysis program and PPE compliance program and maintaining the SDS system.
- Conducting periodic inspections of plant machinery, equipment, and working conditions to ensure conformance to appropriate safety and sanitary standards and regulations.
- Driving continuous improvement and delivering strong results from behavioral based processes.
Qualifications
- Preferably, graduated from related departments of universities,
- Minimum Class B Occupational Health and Safety Specialization Certificate from the Ministry of Labor and Social Security,
- ISO 14001 & 45001 Management Systems Knowledge
- 5 years of experience in EHS
- Knowledgeable about laws and regulations related to production processes,
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English,
- Strong communication skills
- High analytical thinking and problem solving skills, high management and organizational skills, disciplined, responsible,
- Will be able to work in a systematic way, report their work periodically,
- Google Applications and function specific software.
