Position Summary
The Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Document Control Coordinator will be responsible for the tracking, organization, and storage of all EHS compliance program documentation. This includes a wide variety of evidence of compliance documentation.
Job Responsibilities

Organization of the online and hard copies of company compliance documentation directly related to environmental, health and, safety regulations.

Responsible for the EHS documentation control for multiple job sites company wide.

Responsible for ensuring records are accurately retained in an efficient and timely matter as required to ensure quality and integrity of the data.

Responsible in part, under the direction of EHS leadership for complying with OSHA, EPA, CLIA, NYS, CAP and other regulatory agencies EHS requirements.

Convert selected hard copy files to electronic formats.

Respond to requests to retrieve documentation from storage locations and distribute as required in a timely manner.
Required Qualifications
-
High School Diploma
-
2 years of proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word, Excel, Outlook, and general working knowledge of Internet for business use.

2 years corporate business experience; specifically, organizing documentation such as copying, scanning, filing physically and electronically, etc.

Follows direction with an attention to detail.

Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with tact and diplomacy.

Proficient verbal and written communication skills: Maintain written, oral and computer communication skills to convey information.

Interpersonal/human relations skills: Willingness to share and receive information and ideas from all levels of the organization to achieve the desired results.

Organizational skills: time management skills - ability to multi-task and maintain administrative tasks.

Teamwork – Commitment to the successful achievement of team and organizational goals through a desire to participate with and help other members of the team.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with safety and health and/or quality management systems documentation.
Physical Demands

Extended periods of computer related tasks.
Training
-
Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control, Chemical Hygiene, Hazard Communications, Hazardous Waste Management, and OSHA Injury & Illness Reporting Requirements.

Other job specific and compliance training assigned based on the job functions associated with this position.

This position requires periodic travel and some evenings, weekends and/or Holidays.
