Join a passionate and dynamic National Team that is focused on educating members within the Group Benefits and Group Savings and Retirement space.
The Education Specialist, under the direction of the Manager of the Education Team, will provide members with a range of activities that create an engaging education experience, that is focused on helping members deepen their learning while providing them with the support they need to achieve their personal goals, improve their health and well-being.
The Education Specialist will also be responsible for facilitating member education sessions for our existing and new clients. Also, as part of their role, the Education Specialist will be asked to represent iA Financial Group to potential clients during the shortlist process.
The Education role includes but is not limited to the following:
- Deliver onsite / virtual education & training sessions which include in-class, e-learning, and virtual facilitation to our members using different types of mediums
- Develop and help implement education and communication strategies. Collaborate with colleagues and internal stakeholders to design and implement learning solutions
- Teach members how to take advantage of the tools and services available to them
- Participate and be a contributing team member in the development of new education features, tools, and services
- Participate in finalist presentations
Travel required within the province. May occasionally be asked to travel within Canada.
Your career path looks like this
- A passionate and dynamic self-starter who is comfortable working both independently as a part of a team
- Strong organization, time management, and planning skills
- Strong presentation skills, communication, and persuasion skills
- University Degree or equivalent is an asset in a related field of study
- Superior presentation and facilitation skills with the ability to engage audiences
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite / applications
- Experience with designing and developing training material using multiple delivery methods, including instructor led, web based, audio and video is a plus
- Ideal candidate would have 2 years of working knowledge of capital accumulation plans. defined contribution plans, investments, and / or knowledge of Group Benefits (Group Insurance) products and services
- Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) required. May be completed after hiring.
