The role of an editor is to coordinate among account executives and editors to assign tasks as needed, with thorough understanding of how a newsroom operates.
The editor should also have extensive knowledge of the Korean business environment and a proven track record of working in a newsroom environment.
Tasks include:
- Writing and editing content across all platforms, including press releases, websites, blogs, and social media platforms.
- Ideating, planning, and writing communication materials including feature stories, speeches (including c-suite) and newsletters.
- Manage the traffic control of assignments from account executives to editors
- Research, interview and develop ideas for clients.
Job Requirements
- Strong command of written and spoken English
- At least 3-5 years of experience in the writing and/or PR industry
- Writing experience of high-tech and business sectors is a huge plus, as well are knowledge and curiosity of the IT industry
- Korean language proficiency is a plus
- Must understand content production process
- Ability to develop content that prompts engagement
- Excellent time management skills to meet tight deadlines
- Experience with demanding client(s) is a huge plus
