The EDI Analyst provides resolution to client issues that require more in-depth knowledge of the technology, platform, products and/or processes. Issues are typically identified by the Client Services Team and can include complicated electronic data interchange (EDI) claim errors and transmission problems.

Location: Remote, US

Role qualifications:

• 1 or more years of work experience with operations support within healthcare, with an emphasis on technical skills    

• 1 or more years’ experience working within vendor clearinghouse

• ANSI transaction experience

• Ability to read ANSI guides

• High School diploma or GED

What you will be doing:

• Interacts with trading partners as well as direct-connect payers to facilitate resolution to client issues.

• Supports the development of client support documentation as needed.

• Interacts closely with other team members in Availity to provide the highest quality of customer service.

• For more advanced technical issues, the Operations Support Analyst is the Client Services subject matter expert and liaison between Operations, Customers and the Availity Development team.

• Provides training to first level support representatives as necessary to facilitate rapid resolution of client issues.

• May be called upon to serve in multiple roles and perform other duties, projects, or activities as specified by their management.
