We are in need of an eCommerce Content & Video Specialist who is creatively minded, adept at storytelling and experienced managing and producing video and photo shoots that also has skills in production design (Adobe Suite). This role requires a collaborative mindset, attention to detail, flexibility and a driven work ethic. 

An integral part of this position requires a great deal of creativity, problem solving and communication skills plus strong project management capabilities. Also, must be able to successfully manage internal and external resources to produce high volumes of optimized product content. Must have the ability to think quickly and be able to creatively craft engaging online consumer content (within retailer constraints) to effectively drive sales and conversion online. 

Must be able to juggle many priorities across varying product categories and brands. Must enjoy working with multidisciplinary individuals — writers, marketing, creative, and project managers in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This role will report to the eCommerce Content Creative Manager.

What you’ll do in this role:

-Lead creation of storyboards and scripts for product how-to videos, must be able to think strategically and be able to effectively market products;

-Develop design concepts, layouts and/or mock-ups for creative review as needed, as well as create production design files;
-Be able to multitask, stay organized, and meet multiple deadlines across a variety of projects to deliver projects on time and on budget;
Self-manage individual projects and files effectively in the online project workflow system;
-Be able to work collaboratively as part of a larger team in a fast-paced environment to produce work that consistently supports our brands to ensure proper brand identity and message consistency across all channels;
-Manage content through all required review and approval processes, editing, etc. Be able to critically review, proofread and edit content and copy for quality, accuracy, grammar, and punctuation; manage on-going content compliance with legal, marketing, regulatory, etc.;
-Prepare and send all electronic art files to appropriate vendor or retailer to meet requirements for file exports and be able to manage corrections and approve proofs as needed;
-Be able to work across varying internal and external systems to access product information and assets and manage distribution and archival of files. Also, support internal DAM, Project Management and Syndication platforms as needed;
Support all business groups and brands (including, but not limited to ScottsMiracle-Gro, Bonnie Plants, etc.) as needed;
-Manage project budgets as assigned and oversee project estimates and invoicing;
-Stay current on new trends, techniques, and tools to develop and optimize content that converts;

-Additional responsibilities assigned as special needs may arise and should be considered as important as brand/business responsibilities noted above.

The perfect person will have:
-Bachelor Degree in Digital Marketing, Marketing, Video Production, Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Communications; or other equivalent related field; 
-2 - 3+ years experience with video production and post-production experience and managing creative agencies is desired;
-Expertise with Final Cut, Adobe CC (Premiere Pro, After Effects & Lightroom) and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator, etc.).
-Experience building design production files for digital marketing and providing PDFs for review;
-Must be able to conceptualize, and logically organize information with a high degree of precision and accuracy;
-Experience managing image assets with a solid understanding of digital files, for example: image modes (RGB vs. CMYK), image resolutions, pixel ratios, file formats (JPG, PNG, TIF), etc. 
-Demonstrated history of being a self-starter and working independently;
-Ability to be comfortable working in a highly-matrixed environment and work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and juggle multiple projects and priorities at once;
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail;
-Tech savviness with an ability to learn new software systems quickly;
-A positive outlook and proactive mindset.

Some other nice to have’s:
-Experience in eRetailer/Omni retailers (Amazon, Lowe’s, Walmart, etc.) or other CPG company preferred but not required;
-Experience with eCommerce content syndication platforms (ex. Amazon Vendor Central, Syndigo, Salsify,etc.) is a plus.
 

The starting budgeted pay range for this role will generally fall between $58,000.00 - $68,200.00 per year. Scotts will consider various factors in determining the actual pay including your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
