McKesson Med-Surg Consumer Markets is seeking an eCommerce Channel Brand Manager to join our team. Ideal candidates will live in or near in Richmond, VA, but remote candidates across the US can be considered.
Position Description

The eCommerce Channel Brand Manager is an individual contributor who plays a key role in driving revenue and profit for our Business to Consumer channel. The ideal candidate will bring the right assortment to the marketplace, optimize our performance through merchandising, optimization, better product content and partnering with marketing, fulfillment and pricing to generate incremental sales and margin. They must be comfortable working in concert with stakeholders across the organization including other Channel Managers, Product Information Management, Supply Chain, Analytics, Digital Category Managers and key stakeholders within our private label team.

The ideal candidate for this role will be a natural merchant, with strong technical and analytical skills to drive performance in a data-based marketplace environment. The candidate will be our leader in building new listings and setting them up for an accelerated launch.

Key Responsibilities:

Bring new Products to launch

  • Point of Contact with SMEs within our Private Brand partners to accelerate the launch of new products, to ensure they are optimized to meet ecommerce marketplace requirements and content is delivered on time.
  • Work with B2C Partners- to have the right positioning for selected products.
  • Provide initial inventory forecast to support fulfillment tactics.

Brand Management - Sales, delivered profit, assortment and seller metrics

  • Co-lead monthly reviews on new product roadmap to build B2C Marketplace assortment with focus on strategic items for the brand.
  • Project manager for Private Label Product Optimization – Works in concert with different eCommerce stakeholders to optimize Merchandising, Pricing, Promotions, Fulfillment, Inventory, Categorization, Basic content & attribution, Images, Keywords, A+ Content.
  • Own Product optimization in the marketplace including resolving listing errors, improving product content scores, gaining Brand Ownership of product listings, and identifying opportunities from promotions and beta projects with our marketplace partners.
  • Own execution of channel related tasks for selected products
  • Own framework, consolidation & development of internal dashboards and channel processes to execute KPIs. Train team on usage on their brands / portfolio
  • Other duties as assigned.

eCommerce Point of Contact (POC) for Product Assortments

  • Channel POC with internal stakeholders. Communicates to B2C stakeholders about new products, rebranding, obsoletes. Communicates with them about channel-specific requirements or restrictions for a category or Brand.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Critical Skills

  • 4+ years' experience with Merchanding, eCommerce or retail
  • 2+ years' experience in product positioning & merchandising
  • 2+ years' experience with Amazon, Walmart & Target catalog management
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel- Pivots, VLOOKUP’s and PowerPoint)
  • Business acumen, including item profitability, sales and inventory forecasts.

Additional Knowledge & Skills

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and written/verbal skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Knowledge of marketplace aggregators like Rithum, Marketplace Seller Platforms desired
  • Strong attention to detail

Education
4-year degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business or related field or equivalent experience

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$70,500 - $117,500
