Spanish International Aircraft Maintenance SL (SIAM) is a provider of aircraft maintenance services to our client airline Ryanair, carrying out maintenance on Ryanair's entire fleet of New Generation Boeing 737-800 and 737- MAX series of aircraft. Our highly trained and dedicated engineers are the driving force behind our industry leading safety record. Our skilled engineers conduct extensive checks on individual aircraft system, structures and components to ensure the continued airworthiness and safe operation of the Ryanair fleet of aircraft.
SIAM are recruiting to support the expansion of our heavy maintenance capability and we are therefore looking for experienced B1 Engineers with a type rating to join our team.
The Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for carrying out maintenance tasks as required and allocated.
- Maintain a high standard of work in all tasks.
- Complete the appropriate documentation.
- Supervision of a team of Aircraft Mechanics
- Comply with all company procedures, policies, regulations and MOE.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Ensure the company Health and Safety policy is adhered to.
- Any other duties as requested by the Check Supervisor/Management
- Applicants must have an EASA B1 license endorsed with a type rating (preferably with a Boeing 737 – 800) – type courses available.
- Excellent spoken and written English is essential.
- Previous hangar experience is desirable.
- Flexible approach to working in a fast-changing environment.
- All applicants must be willing to work shifts – including weekends and nights.
- All applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in Spain/EU.
